1. Who We Are
Print Data Secure (PDSecure) is operated by KG Arjis Ltd, registered in the United Kingdom and Nigeria. In relation to this website and your customer account, we act as the data controller for your personal data. In relation to documents generated through the PDSecure platform on behalf of our customers, we act as a data processor — processing data under the instruction of our customers, who remain the data controllers for their document recipients’ information.

2. The PDSecure Platform – Three Components
a) This website (www.printdatasecure.com)
The website serves as a customer portal — enabling existing customers to log in, manage their account, view purchase history and raise support tickets. Data collected here relates to your use of the website and your customer account.
b) PDS Desktop Manager and API (Document Generation)
The Desktop Manager and API are the means by which customers submit document data to the PDSecure platform for encryption, QR embedding and secure document generation. The generated document is returned to the customer. As part of this process, PDSecure receives and processes document data on behalf of the customer. Customers using the Desktop Manager or API should refer to their Data Processing Agreement with KG Arjis Ltd for full details of how this data is handled.
c) PDS Verify (Mobile App)
PDS Verify is a free mobile app that enables anyone to verify a PDSecure-secured document by scanning its QR code. The app stores a cache of up to 20 recently verified documents on the user’s device — this data is stored locally and is not transmitted to PDSecure servers. PDSecure may collect anonymised analytics data relating to app usage.

4. Document Elements — Storage and Purpose
To enable accurate document verification, PDSecure may store specific elements of a generated document that are too large to be embedded within the QR code itself — for example, a photograph or signature associated with an identity document.
These elements are stored on secure PDSecure infrastructure and used solely to enable the PDS Verify app to reconstitute a visual representation of the document at the point of verification. PDSecure does not store complete document images. The majority of document data is encrypted within the QR code itself and never passes through PDSecure servers.
Customers are responsible for ensuring their document recipients are informed that certain document elements may be stored by PDSecure as part of the verification infrastructure, and should reflect this in their own privacy notices. Individuals wishing to exercise rights in relation to stored document elements should contact the institution that issued their document in the first instance.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share data only where necessary: with Microsoft Azure (our hosting and infrastructure provider); with trusted service providers who assist in operating the platform; and where required by law or legal process. All third-party processors are subject to data processing agreements.
6. Data Retention
Enquiry data: 12 months. Customer account data: duration of the customer relationship plus 7 years. Document elements (photos, signatures): retained for the duration of the customer relationship and as required for audit and legal purposes — specific retention periods are set out in the customer’s Data Processing Agreement. App analytics: aggregated and anonymised, retained indefinitely.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal data. Contact us at pdsecureteam@printdatasecure.com. We will respond within 30 days. Some rights may be limited where data is processed under legal obligation or legitimate interest.
8. Cookies
This website uses essential cookies required for it to function. We do not currently use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
9. Data Processing Agreements
Customers using the PDSecure platform to process personal data on behalf of their organisations are required to enter into a Data Processing Agreement with KG Arjis Ltd. Contact pdsecureteam@printdatasecure.com to obtain a copy.
